3Y Class Work

In topic we looked at the Anglo Saxon Justice System. We found out that if you get caught doing a mad thing you could have your fingers chopped off!

In topic we have been describing different settings from Anglo Saxon times. We described the Great Mead hall from Beowulf. We learnt lots of brilliant vocabulary and in the last week off November we had a great feast in the hall.

In numeracy we have been exploring all the different ways to multiply numbers. We have used number lines and expanded column to show our different answers.

In literacy we have been looking at language play poems, the children came up with lots of brilliant similes, metaphors and alliteration to describe their terrifying dragon. The children read their poems out in the great mead hall during the feast.
